About Us

We are Van Zyl & Pritchard

Van Zyl and Pritchard, commonly known as VZAP, was established in 1976 and became the market leader in the training of programmers for the IT market. We still covert the ethos established by Mannie Van Zyl and Fank Pritchard all those years ago, even though the current IT landscape is vastly different.
VZAP offers training for first-time programmers as well as experienced developers looking to up-skill or cross-skill to Java. Our beginner (entry-level) programming course will teach a first-time programmer the fundamental principles of object-oriented programming, taking this person to a level where (s)he is able to build a complete application.

For those who would like to up or cross-skill, but do not want to attend our 25 week full-time course, we offer numerous short courses. Details of what we offer may be found here. VZAP will deliver these courses at our premises or at your location and are prepared to tailor-make each course, within reason, to your requirements. The choice is yours.
VZAP continually updates their course material to remain relevant, and therefore is your ‘go-to’ IT trainer provider, as we have been for the past 40 years. Consider being part of the large VZAP family and please contact us with any questions you may have.
